I had just reported enemy fighters at seven o&#8217;clock, when the Fortress turned back. I saw the fighters take out after it, approximately eight of them. But they were out of sight in a shot while, so I didn&#8217;t see if the Fortress was shot down or not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right\"><em>Sgt. Edward Trybon<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>The last time I saw the ship was on out way to home near the coast.
