Aircraft 020 was last seen at approximately 1218 hours over the target area of Hof, Germany. Apparently this aircraft was hit by flak. Fire broke out in the cockpit of the aircraft and, losing altitude, it left the formation, seemingly under control. Five (5) men were seen to leave this aircraft as it was losing altitude and five (5) parachutes were seen to open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
