B-17F 42-30176 piloted by 1st. Lt. John L. Sundberg was attacked by enemy aircraft about 10 minutes inside the Belgium coast going into the target. the ship left the formation and seven chutes were seen dropping from the ship. No crash was seen after this observation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
