Fusco&#8217;s crew reported seeing this aircraft at 5149N-1056E at 22000 feet trailing smoke and losing altitude and speed. Two fighters are escorting the plane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lt. Lovan&#8217;s crew saw A\/C 944 drop back in the target area. It was a chaff ship flying 2000 feet below the lead ship. The flak over target was accurate to inaccurate intense Cp and barrage type flak.
