Bruce R. Riley:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At 1515, fighters with rocket guns attacked formation. Two B-17s collided in mid-air after one was hit by a rocket. Planes seemed to explode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From interrogation of the crew of 1st Lt. James R. Geary:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Starnes ship and 328 in mid-air collision. Tail of 328 broke in pieces.
