The photo was taken on April 29, 1945.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The original picture description reads:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress \u201eLady Stardust\u201c at an airbase of the 452nd Bomb Group. England, 29 April 1945.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The B-17s in the background are conspicuous, showing no unit identifications (e.g. 452nd Bomb Group), neither on the tailplane, nor on the fuselage.
