Delivered Strategic Arms Depot 8-Nov-41; Assigned 42BS/11BG Hickam/Wheeler, HI 20-Oct-42, then to 26BS; ditched off Guadalcanal 26-Jan-43 with Capt Woodruff and Gen. Nathan Twining aboard [13thAF CO], along with rest of crew were picked up from two dinghies by USN PBY Catalina five days later. Officially Written off 16-Jul-44.
