Observation made by 1st Lt. James D. Worley at 1450 from altitude of 21500 feet. A/C 527 was badly hit by E/A before reaching the I.P. and was last seen in vicinity of Aschaffenburg at at altitude of 13000 feet, with #3 and #4 engines smoking badly spiraling downward under control. Ten (10) parachutes were seen same from this A/C.
