Leigh Stewart was actually a 1Lt, not 2Lt, as found in MACR 16489: https://catalog.archives.gov/id/91175093?objectPage=19 The MACR also confirms PFC Angliss was a member of the crew when it was downed. Because the 92nd BG had been a training group for new arrivals in England before going into action in September 1942 the crew was possibly hastily-assembled or incomplete.
