Yankee Wahine was on loan to another crew when lost. The crew lost not original crew of Yankee Wahine.

All crew bailed out and ship flew on westward for a while, probably controlled by AFCE, wing heavily burning. In this condition it was seen by my late grandfather who lived in a village ca. 5 kilometers from Kleinebersdorf. Whe the plane finally crashed, parts were distributed over Kleinebersdorf village. The fuselage fell on the main street, engines hit ground near the church and at the foot of the church hill.
