Stan Dahlman, Bill Barrett and Tom Hunt were killed; Maurice Sullivan, Bob Gaynor, John Greager were made prisoner (POW); Charles Bennett, Adrian Van Bemmel and Ford Cowherd were helped in their evasion by the Belgian Comet network. Van Bemmel was on his way to Spain when he was arrested, close to the Spanish border. Bennett and Cowherd also traveled through Belgium, France and Spain and reached Gibraltar from where they were flown back to England.
