My uncle Clarry Morrison was top gunner on this B17.

A relative of mine was a tail/waist gunner in the 384th bomb group. I remember asking him long ago what planes he flew on. The Texas Raider and the Dallas Rebel were two he mentioned. He survived the war, but was shot down three times. I expect he was on several different planes, filling in when needed, given that this plane was lost with the whole crew.
