Delivered Cheyenne 5/6/43; Rapid City 18/6/43; Geiger 22/6/43; Gr Isle 29/6/43; Tinker 21/7/43; Presque Is 1/8/43; Assigned 12AF in MTO 3/8/43 from Gander to Nutts Corner; with Bob McNab, Co-pilot: Bill Badgerow, Navigator: Melvin Bebee, Bombardier: Bill Luke, Flight engineer/top turret gunner: Dave Keene, Radio Operator: Bob Barker, g-Harry Ahrens, g-Joe Wyrwas, g-Harry Noble,Tail gunner: George Klapp (10 Killed in Service); ditched off Berwick, Northumberland, in North Sea 5/8/43. A RAF HSL found no sign of survivors, so attempted to tow aircraft to land but it sank. Missing Air Crew Report 163.
