Please note that in your “History of
B-17 42-31069 / Little Moe,” my father’s name is spelled incorrectly: it should be listed as Edward Daves, not “Aves”. Additionally, he was the pilot of the “Little Moe,” not the Co-pilot – this was Clayton Crunk’s crew position. I just thought that this should be correct for posterity and accuracy. By a process of elimination, I found that the waiting B17 in National Archives image 65533AC in fact is “Little Moe” with your father in it as it’s pilot. https://catalog.archives.gov/id/204844209
