Tom Dietman was my best friend. I went to Neustat/Werra years ago to obtain info on the location of his body. Am I correct the Germans shot the crew, buried them, and then they were taken to an American Cemetary?

Hello Quentin, I am very sorry about your loss.
Was his name Deitman or Dietman? In MACR file, his name listed as Thomas G. Deitman.

The spelling in MACR is correct, Deitman.

There are ten people in this photo and only nine listed as missing in action. My uncle, Andrew Rosenberger, was the tenth member. He missed the flight that fateful day.
