I have the original crew photo that crewed this B17 when arrived at Podington.
My Uncle was in the original crew and flew most of his missions with then 1st Lt. Ernest C Hardin who later became a Squadron Commander and think when my uncle changed who he flew with. Eventually was killed after being assigned to a different crew and shot down over Franfurt.
