Delivered Cheyenne 14/1/44; Dalhart 26/1/44; Kearney 22/2/44; Grenier 24/2/44. Assigned to the 524th Bomb Squadron, /379th Bomb Group [WA-P] Kimbolton 27/2/44. On mission to attack French airfields 4/7/44 crash landed Felpham, Sussex, UK. where householder gave crew tea and coffee 4/7/44. Pilot: Cliff Blue, Co-pilot: Mayo Adams, Navigator: Oswald Masoni, Bombardier: ?, Flight engineer/top turret gunner: Cecil Shaffer, Radio Operator: Harry Olson, Ball turret gunner: Tom Sutton, Waist gunner: John McDonough, Tail gunner: Milton Craven, (9 Returned to Duty). Salvaged 2 SAD Lt Staughton 10/7/44.
