There is no place named Kapsovar in this area. There are some outstandig questions about the crew. Koszyczarek and Smith are told to be brought to Fliegerhorst Thalerhof. Maybe that this was a wrong conclusion by the two survivers. Fliegerhorst Zeltweg is more probable. Michael Molnar is burried in Kleinfeistritz, about ten km away from Zeltweg.

Thanks.
I have take a quick view to MACR 12082. It said, ship crashed west of Graz and other page said Mitterlobming/Steinmark on page 9.

It isn’t definitely cleared where which aircraft came down. Michael Molnar is listed in der “Sterbematrik” of Kleinfeistritz. This is in the neighbour valley of Mitterlobming. But M.M. should have been on Nine wolves and Poppa and not on 44-6691 which crashed NEAR Mitterlobming at the Gaberl Bundesstrasse B77 near Leonhardbauer at Talbacher wood.

No I see. The location “Kapsovar” is a typing error. Kaposvar is in Hungary about 190 miles southeast from Graz.
This location was involved to the Frankfurt/Oder Rally on 18 Dec. 1944, when Howard G. Theobald crashed there shot down I think there have been mixed some informations. See MACR-10633
