My father Wesley R McDonald was in El Lobo 2 1943. He saved his plane twice in which he got the Distinguished Flying Cross. His plane was lead bomber and the crew retired after so many missions.

Many thanks to your father! I’m building a model of his B17 right now. I’m a veteran myself and people like your father are still looked up to and admired by the younger guys. He will never be forgotten.
