My dad, Herbert J Mosebach, was the bombardier on B17. 42-37714. (Ronchi). He past away many years ago. But I remember him telling us about being shot down by flak, then being a POW at Stalag Luft 3. While there he interpreted for the other POWs because German was actually his first language. He was born and raised by Paige, Texas where German was commonly spoken. Does anyone reading this know of my dad?
