Delivered Cheyenne 14/1/44; Morrison 6/2/44; Savannah 14/2/44; slated 385BG Gt Ashfield as THUNDERMUG, but transferred 816BS/483BG Tortorella 30/3/44; transferred 49BS/2BG Amendola 31/3/44; Missing in Action Vienna 16/7/44 with Bob O’Brien, Navigator: Bob Morlan, Flight engineer/top turret gunner: Jim Kelly (3KIA, the latter died on forced march from POW camp); Co-pilot: Norene Ostgulen, Bombardier: Earl Jorgensen{Wounded in Action}, Radio Operator: Bob Winters, Ball turret gunner: Jim Frampton, Waist gunner: Bob Squires, Waist gunner: Ray Bryner,Tail gunner: Henry Wagner (7 Prisoner of War); flak caused wing fire and engine cowling blown off, crashed Goetzendorf, one chute seen. Our father flew 25 missions on a plane called the thundermug. I think there was 2 planes of that name?

Jing you have an error in the name and photo of G-30-DL 42-38205 which conflicts with the same photo of 206.
#205 IARC should be consulted for a search for DUKO/ OHAM destination code and 90XXX-R Project Number give your Bomb group listing. Meanwhile, #206 should exhibit SOXO/UGLY and a 92XXX-R Project Number.
I f these Projects/ Destinations conform, the conflict should be resolved in favor of #206 as Thundermug and #205 limited to Winged Fury ,needing image.
