The name of the village ” Overshire” is wrong. This must be Overschie. Overschie was then a small village NW of Rotterdam, close to the nowadays airfield The Hague Rotterdam Airport or also called Zestienhoven.

42-39811, “Miss Donna Mae” was shot down near Amsterdam by a Heinkel He-219 Night Fighter after a leaflet drop. The He-219 was also downed by the B-17’s returned fire, and its crew ejected.
