I. 23/1/44; with Tracey Geiger, Co-pilot: Theo Bashette, Navigator: Irving Meyers, Bombardier: Verne Bass, Flight engineer/top turret gunner: Ed Elsberry, Radio Operator: Tom Howard, Ball turret gunner: Billy Dalton, Waist gunner: Francis McCall, Waist gunner: Morgan Nes…?,Tail gunner: Sylvester Kureskieczis (10 Returned to Duty); landed too far down runway, brakes unable to hold, ship ran off runway into ditch breaking its back.
