Dear Mr. Manning,
I have been looking for a picture of this aircraft for so long. My cousin, Angelo greco, was killed on it 24 dec 1944. Would it be possible to get a copy of the picture. I would be more than happy to pay for any costs. This has been a sad story in my family since the war. My father, Angelo P greco was serving with the 82nd AB-battle of the Bulge in Dec 44. A cousin Angelo V Greco was with the 327th/92BG. My grandfather, the constable of Harrison NY, received word of my father’s MIA-somehow in the communication an error was made with the middle initial. After a week it got sorted out and they realized Angelo P was OK but Angelo V was not. It was pretty devastating for the family.
Best Regards,
Paul Angelo Greco

I believe 42-97870 UX-Y is on the left hand side of this photo. It served in the 92nd Bomb Group at the same time as 42-107168 NV-D ‘Pappy Time’. https://www.americanairmuseum.com/media/56440
