My father’s first cousin was the Co-Pilot, I have been researching and do not believe that the plane was ever given a name. From what I understand from reading about the 34th bombardment group, they had just switched back from flying the B-24s to the B17s around the time they went down, so they probably didn’t have the opportunity to nick name the plane. Sad event, my condolences to your family.
