The town of Pinneberg lies approx. 25 miles NW of Hamburg in the German province of Schleswig- Holstein. The question mark behind “Ger” in the text seems to have shown doubt whether Pinneberg is in fact in Germany, and not in Denmark as it used to be before the province was annexed by Germany in the 19th century.
