Walter Ibowicz was not killed in action. He was seriously injured but returned per the 92nd BG historian. if you need more information let me know. I can find it in my papers. PS. I’m Bob Groen’s daughter.

One of 23 B-17s seized by the Russians and incorporated into 45 TBAD, 890 Regiment (used 16 B-17s). Aircraft found in Warsaw.
