Delivered Hunter 5/1/45; Grenier 13/1/45; Assigned: 535BS/381BG [MS-K] Ridgewell 1/2/45; {2m} bellied in after mission to ‘ 15/2/45 Pilot: ‘ ; modified as hack for CO of 1CBW, Gen Bill Gross, turrets removed and extra seats fitted, taking over 900 man hrs of 432nd SG to complete; Transferred: 91BG Bassingbourn 15/4/45 flying two missions as scout; so `christened’ on 25/4/44 group’s last combat mission; ret 381BG Ridgewell 20/5/45 as ETO transport for VIPs before returning US; ass USN as CB-17 in 1946.
