At 1330 hours, Lt. Farmer’s aircraft, flying in High Group, had #1 engine feathered, and #2 engine was throwing oil. I saw him last turning parallel [sic] to the coast and going down fast. The aircraft was not on fire, and we did not see any parachutes.

Hello Michael, I have found a picture of the B-17 and uploaded it.

Renato was my grandfather. He survived but was first taken prisoner. I have a photo of him with his crew in front of an aircraft, presumably their own and possibly this one. It was called Miss Dee Day
