B-17 43-37747 Details
Following statement obtained by S-2 Section, 452nd Bomb Group at interrogation after mission:
Definite details concerning A/C 747 are not known although one B-17 was seen going down at Nucourt, apparently, directly hit by flak. This A/C appeared to be from the high squadron, since plane 747 flew #3 position in the high squadron and A/C 903 and A/C 934 were identified, it is presumed that A/C 747 was the plane reported as going down over Nucourt.
