The planes name was “My Best Bette”. My father was the tail gunner. It crashed (belly flop) in a field in Rienne, BE on its 1st combat mission. Half the crew bailed out. All survived and were returned by the Belguim Resistance Fighters. A detailed account was posted by the pilot and can be found at wbuddwentz.com
