Eyewitness Statements to the loss of B-17 #42-97437

I the undersigned was flying in aircraft #328 on 10 September 1944. As the formation cleared the bomb run, our squadron was scattered and after formation was once again together we observed aircraft 437 missing from formation. That is all I saw.

I the undersigned was flying in A/C #328, 342nd Bomb Squadron on 10 September 1944. As the formation cleared the bomb run the formation became separated, until a short time afterwards we all were back in formation. At this time our AC observed 437 to be missing from the formation. That is all I saw.
