Linda, yes. I don’t know much more than that. My great Uncle was also one of the crew, so I’ve heard stories from family over the years.

My first cousin Arleigh Honeycutt was the Co-pilot. From my understanding this particular aircraft had just been delivered to the squadron the week before. Have not been able to confirm whether or not this was its first mission. Ian, I would be interested to know who your uncle was. From the MACR I discovered that one of the crew’s bodies was eventually recovered and I found the burial report for S/Sgt Charlie Martin, which lists his recovery location as S. Benedetto, Italy. Linda was your father on this aircraft when it was lost? I have found multiple aircraft with the moniker, Blow it our your… This one may have replaced a previously named one.
