My father was Lt. Martin V. Stanford and was the bombadier on B-17F 42-29717 “Mr. Five by Five” . The pilot was Kee Harrison. He was in the hospital during the “Raid” to Le Bourget, France July 14, 1943 when the plane was shot up and forced to land.

My dad was the right waist gunner on Mr five by five! His rank and name are staff sergeant Richard H Lewis and wrote a book abt his crew and experience with this plane
