Delivered Denver 15/12/43; GR Island 29/12/43; Presque Is 21/1/44; Assigned 457BG Glatton 26/1/44; transferred 407BS/92BG [PY-H] Podington 11/3/44; detailed mission to German 9/9/44 with Harry Wallace, Co-pilot: Chas Enes, Navigator: Bill Stultz, Bombardier: Francis Volminot, Flight engineer/top turret gunner: Joe Dudek, Radio Operator: Bill Dodge, Ball turret gunner: Art McCaffrey, Waist gunner: Russell Stark,Tail gunner: Harvey Stark (9 Returned to Duty); soon after take off #1 developed oil leak and could not be feathered; pilot selected Lt Rissington, Glouc. UK but u/c collapsed under load and slid 400ft, Salvaged 10/9/44.
