My grandfather Capt. Arvid A. Malvik used to tell a story about making an emergency landing in a Brussel sprout field and having to eat Brussel sprouts for three days until they got picked up.

Your father and I went from kindergarten through high school together and we were very good friends. I remember your dad telling me about your grand dads service during the second World War and I was in awe of his accomplishments. A few years ago I flew on a B-17 and it is one of the most inspiring experiences of my life. Would love to speak to you if you would so wish, my phone number is 661-964-9478 and I live in Charlotte, NC.
