Delivered: Cheyenne 18/2/43; Presque 28/4/43; Assigned: 322BS/91BG [LG-M] Bassingbourn 4/6/43; MIA {5m} Hamburg 26/7/43 Pilot: Jack Hargis, Co-Pilot: Carl Smith, Navigator: Bill Turcotte, Bombardier: Capen Simons, Engineer / Top Turret Gunner: Jarvis Allen, Radio Operator: Vic Ciganek, Ball Turret Gunner: Rudie Thigpen, Waist Gunner: Germany. y Tucker, Waist Gunner: Albert Mineo, Tail Gunner: Jim Bowcock (10RTD); ditched North Sea, all rescued. Five flew off in RAF Walrus L2307, but other five in second Walrus K8549 unable to take off and it taxied back to Yarmouth harbour (possibly FRISCO JENNY) better known as DESTINY’S TOT.
