Delivered Cheyenne 1/4/43; Smoky Hill 10/4/43; Pueblo 26/4/43; Smoky Hill 6/5/43; Dow Fd 23/5/43; Assigned: 533BS/381BG [(OQ-A)VP-A] Ridgewell 25/5/43 Pilot: Bob Withers, Bill Duggan, Bill Turner, Leon English, Lou Smalowitz, Ervin Bohlander, Jim Lintgen, Joe Kristapovich, Elwood Harris, Chris Langolf; destroyed in base explosion 23/6/43 & damaged several others (23 men KIS: Lt Paul Tull, nco’s-Ervin Bohlander, Elwood Harris, Henry Buongiorno, Christan Langolf, Joe Kristpovich, Roger Allen, George Fiamma, Melvin Jerkins, Elmer Madden, Guy McDuffee, Bob Ashcraft, Chas Wilton, Mike Egan, Jim Lintgen, Dennis Collins, Joe Neel, Louis Smulowitz, Chas Feeley, Milton Foerstal, Jim King, Jim Main, Joe Sproha, and a civilian, John Hunwick, cycling by on the way to work; twi injuries W/O Joe Nutt (shock) and Gen Burkland (broken leg). Carried Brig Gen Hunter CO 8AF Fighter Command as observer on first mission on previous day.
