The bombardier on aircraft 42-30182 for the mission on Dec 11, 1943 (MACR 1562) was Leonard W Eaton not Leon as listed. I am the name sake of this brave man who gave his life for his country. Correcting this slight error would be appreciated as a tribute to my Uncle Leonard. Thank you.

My name is Douglas Nelson. I am the nephew of Ross Nelson, pilot and command of a B-17 flying fortress by the name of Blondie. Seeking information on him. Googled B-17 flying Fortress named Blondie. The name Blondie two came up and I read your information. I wonder if there is a Blondie one or the original. I’ll keep looking, congratulations on your correction. Your uncle deserved it!
