The Co Pilot Harold Eisele was my Uncle he was from Rochester New York, He was one of the survivors of the crash not sure what his injuries’ were but I do know he walked with a slight limp. He didn’t really talk to much about the crash to me . He passed a few years back at his funeral his son put together a scrap book of the news clips about the crash . A year after his passing I was in Colorado for work and I attempted to find the site to take pictures and give them to my cusin but I was not prepared for hiking and made it about 1 hour and bad weather was coming so I returned , I would like to try it again the next time I am in Fort Collins , Thanks for putting this together people need to know our history .

David, I have a lot of information on this crash. I am planning to hike up there next summer. I have been there several times. Let me know if you are interested.

Bill, I live in Florence, and would love to join you on your hike to the plane. I assume spring/summer ’24?
