As the daughter of Ssgt. Crew Chief & Top Turret Gunner William F. Clarke my Dad’s B17 Nobody’s Darlin’ was shot down 4/29/44 over Berlin. Reading the crew list above aren’t any of my Dad’s crew. Needless to say, I’m confused. Can anyone shed light?

Name „Nobody’s Darlin“ was not known to me.

42-31217 with the 447th Bomb Group was the plane that William F. Clarke was on when it crashed. The 447th has the name of the A/C as “SOLID SENDER”. http://www.447bg.com/Aircraft%20Page%201.htm

Top turret gunner on Nobody’s Darling was Walter Skinner, Nobody’s Darling landed on a beach in Southwest England, in Somerset, a town called Burnham on Sea, all the crew survived, I met Walter Skinner in 1991 when he visited the town
