Staff, I am the grandson of 1LT William B. Lock. As indicated, he did EVD. Above indicates the A/C was lost to enemy aircraft. In his “Summary of Military Service” he indicates that they were hit by flak in the left wing and it went through the wing and punctured a gas tank.
Regards, Jeff Lock.

My uncle and godfather, Lt. Sol H Greenberg was the Bombadier on Trudy when they were shot down. He spent the rest of the war as a POW at Luftstalag 1.

Cary,
Sorry for the long delay. I travel frequently for work and have been volunteering in near the Ukrainian border. Have you any additional information on you Uncle, and related artifacts? Thanks much, Jeff
