Aircraft #336 with #4 engine feathered last seen in the vicinity of the Dutch border. The aircraft was dropping back and losing altitude and was under enemy fighter attack. It eventually disappeared into the clouds while still under attack by enemy aircraft. No chutes were seen.

The tail gunners name is incorrect. His name was George Millar Jr. not Miller. He was my great great uncle.
