While in an antiques mall in Hammond, IN, I picked up the wedding photo of Sgt. Leroy A. Brandenburg and his wife taken 2/28/1944 in Wausau, WI–10 short months before his death in December of 1944. If you’d like a copy of that photo (he is wearing his best Air Force uniform including cap) for your archives, I will email it to you.

LeRoy was my 2nd oldest brother. I am 80 and the youngest of 7 children. We were always told LeRoy went down in the English Channel. I am greatful to finally learn the truth. I only wish the rest of my family knew. I would be very thanful for any other militry information about LeRoy. I have the wedding pictures. Thank you for doing the many hours of research in finding out what happened to his plane. I Thank you, Sylvia Bratton
