On AFHRA Reel B0183, page 535 (per the pdf page count) the 92 Bomb Group original records say this aircraft was shot down and seen to spiral to the ground on 24 FEB 1944, not April. “After heavy attack by enemy aircraft this aircraft was seen to roll and spin down out of control to the ground at 12:15 hours at a position of 52 Deg 35 N, 07 Deg 45 E. No chutes were seen.”

Hello Chris, is the AFHRA Reel B0183 available online? If you, can you provide the link to the files?
I just checked MACR 2759 and yes, the date is not April. It’s like you said 24 February 1944.
It must be one of those errors in Osbornes Masterlog.
I have corrected the date.
