My Father, Curtis Ray Doty, told me he flew several missions in a B17 called “Omar the Dent Maker” . However he was in the 301st BG 419th Sqd, out of Foggia Italy. This is a contradiction to anything I have been able to find on this aircraft. Do you know where I can find the answers?
