Descendant of Lawrence C. Terry- top turret gunner/engineer. Info about her last mission:
During “Big Week” (Operation Argument), the 351st participated in the 22 Feb 1944 strike tasked to Bernburg (Junkers works). Weather/combat diverted parts of the formation to Magdeburg. “Yankee Rebel” returned to England damaged and belly-landed at RAF Framlingham (USAAF Station 153)—home of the 390th BG—with all 10 crew returning to duty. Pilot listed for that ship was 1/Lt Dester E. Watson.
