My dad, Henry “Gene” Maul was waist gunner on Laura Jane. Currently, I am restoring his POW Diary and adding more information to what he has already written. Happy to share what I have or learn more.

I am reviewing the diary of my great uncle, Harold Wilcox, who mentions losing “King” (this aircraft’s Pilot) and others on this day. I would be interested in seeing what else you have.

If anyone has any interest, I work in Germany and the crash site is on my patrol program. She crashed in what is now a Bundeswehr transit camp on the Bergen Hohne ranges. I can see if I am allowed to make some photos, there is no trace sadly but sometimes gives perspective.

William Nordell “Bill” Lloyd was my grandfather’s first cousin. I would love to have any information about him in any of the diaries. He did not make it home, dying at age 20 on the march as they were being moved between camps.
