Delivered: Long Beach 23/9/43; Harvard 6/10/43; ass 709BS/447BG Rattlesden 21/11/43; exploded on base, 21/4/44. All 709BS ground crew personnel were: Bob Adams, Ed Baculis, Otton Branham, Doug Graves, John Harms, Paul Kasch,Ken Lofton, John Ragan, Don Roach, George Slachta, Herb Spreen, Jim Trott, Bill Wilson, Bill Vaughn, and Henry Chavez (871 Chem. Co.). (15KIA) Aircraft being serviced prior to mission, possibly while fusing some bombs exploded; two trucks and a trailer destroyed while a nearby cottage was badly damaged; Salvaged. MACR 15602.
