I don’t believe the crew onboard when it was shot down is correct. My cousin 2nd Lt Michael Mahoney was on that flight that was shot down and he became a prisoner of war. That fact was documented in the New York papers yet no mention in your report

My Error in Little Lass…above article shows him part of that flight but not when he was shot down and became POW in Stalag Luft 3 Sagan-Silesia Bavaria and then moved to Nurenberg-Langwasser
